In the summer of 1990 I picked up my first SLR camera launching a journey of excitement and challenge that helped me develop an intriguing vision. A Vision and a sensitivity for the art of photography. My first job out of college was in a One Hour Photo Lab. Several years of color printing and color photography helped me tune in my skill. Then I found myself under the wing of Pamela Crist, Owner of Dalmatian Black and White Photo Lab, where I studied and developed my love of Black and White photography. Working in a broad gamut of photographic genres from Fine Art, Family Portraits, Weddings, and Fashion Photography. In the late 1990's into the early 2000's I worked with The Talent Connection shooting composites of their children's talent on film. This, along with editorial and nightclub photography for the Rhinoceros Times (now The Rhino).
Spending time with easy going people is what I enjoy. I prefer to work efficiently and focus on quality over quantity. I enjoy collaboration, sharing creative ideas, evolving mentally and emotionally, and sharing my talent and love of photography.
The outdoors, old houses, unique places, and traveling are what excites me. Then having unique individuals like you to photograph. Going back in time to a vintage era with the sound of jazz, female vocalists, and big bands. I prefer natural lighting and capturing the mood and the moment.
